Welcome to Pharmacology I course for 2nd year 1st semester pharmacy regular students! This is a Blended e-learning learning (online and face-to-face teaching) pharmacology I course designed for you to :- Enable graduate pharmacist comprehensively provide the student with fundamental concept of pharmacology , the course will provide students with knowledge about drugs used for treatment, diagnosis and prevention of disease, the course start with the basic pharmacological principle including:- pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics

Upon the completion of this course, you will be able to:
the students will be able to able to understand the general principle of pharmacology
Explain pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs drugs affecting autonomic nervous system, kidney, cardiovascular system, blood, autacoids, respiratory tract, GIT.
The teaching-learning methods in this course include self-directed online learning activities, face-to-face sessions, and discussions.
During the self-directed online activities, you must complete all of the given online learning activities at your own pace and within the time frame specified, as preparation for face-to-face sessions.
In the discussion forum sessions, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn with other students. You must participate in the discussion forum to answer the given questions and/or collaboratively solve a problem.
The face-to-face sessions are devoted to the discussion of complex concepts, questions and answers, and/or the practice of some important skills (if any).
To ensure that you get the most out of this course, you must devote at least four(4) hours per week 3 hours for self-directed online activities, 1 hour for collaborative learning, and 1 hour for face-to-face sessions) for approximately 16 weeks.
At the end of the course, there will be a summative assessment to determine whether or not the learning objectives were met. This assessment consists of a written knowledge test, your participation in the discussion forum and the quality of your responses to the discussion questions, and a review of your completed and submitted work.
